- - Bought a year-long sub for my daughter after a school intro; ads show inappropriate app suggestions she clicked near us, and I regret the purchase.
I paid for a year's subscription so my daughter could play all the games. It was introduced to her by school.
The app generates ads; she clicked on one when she was struggling to find the way to close the pop-up, and wherever she ended up had suggestions for inappropriate apps along the bottom. I was with her when this happened, and she asked about one of them in confusion before I was able to close it.
I made a mistake purchasing it and wish I had looked into it at all before agreeing when she asked because I saw it as a good way to push her to some more educational phone use and assumed if it was something they did at school it shouldn't be inappropriate. Didn't anticipate this obnoxious pop-up situation.
